ISEE Essential is unable to turn on.

AC Adapter is loose on either end.

Check that the AC Adapter is plugged in properly on both ends.

AC Adapter has an incompatible voltage.

Check that the AC adapter’s voltage is 12V/3A.

AC Adapter is not plugged in or the main switch is off.

Check that the AC Adapter is plugged in properly, and that power is on at your main switch.

AC Adapter is faulty.

Ensure the light of the AC Adapter is on.

ISEE Essential shows no internet connection for the Wi- Fi Network.

Your Wi-Fi router has no internet.

Ensure that your router is plugged into your modem, and that the modem is turned on and connected to your ISP.

Wrong password

Forget the current WiFi network, re-enter the password, and ensure it shows "connected" after entering the password.

Your Wi-Fi router is behind a corporate firewall / captive portal.

Plug a Wireless Remote / USB mouse into your ISEE Karaoke.

Right click twice to exit "KEX Karaoke" and open the Browser app. 

Refresh the page, input your username / password to login to the gateway. Once the setup is done, reboot the ISEE Essential.

​Your Wi-Fi router is not setup with DHCP.

Ensure that your router's DHCP server is enabled.

ISEE Essential cannot find my WiFi Network

ISEE can only connect to 2.4GHz WiFi, not 5GHz

Set your home WiFi to separate 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks

​Your cloud access subscription has expired.

Visit https://app.kexkaraoke.com to renew your subscription to stream songs from the cloud platform.

Mobile & Tablet’s Remote Control does not work.

ISEE Essential and your Mobile are not on the same Internet Network.

Ensure that both the ISEE Essential and your devices are connected to the same internet network.

ISEE Essential is unable to display a QR-Code

Restart your ISEE Essential, ensure it is connected to the internet, check the Wi-Fi connection or Ethernet connection.

​ISEE Essential has disconnected from the Internet.

Reconnect the device to an internet network, by using a Wi-Fi or an Ethernet connection.

​

Device has disconnected from the Wi-Fi.

Reconnect your device to the same internet network as the ISEE Essential.

​

QR-Code & IP address changed due to the router network settings.

Change your settings of IP address to static on your router.

Blackout TV screens / No picture output / Weird colour.

Audio isn’t playing on the ISEE Essential.

2RCA cable or Optical Audio cable is not connected.

Connect the ISEE Essential to an audio system using the 2RCA cable or Optical Audio cable.

Your audio system is turned off, or in the wrong input mode.

Ensure that your audio system is on, and is receiving audio input from the correct port e.g. Optical / AUX / BGM etc.

​

ISEE Karaoke is muted.

Unmute the ISEE Essential through your Mobile / Tablet’s Remote Control.
